Introduction

This Cancellation & Refund Policy governs all payments, bookings, and subscriptions made through the Adhisaat platform (mobile application and website), operated by KUMA VENTURES PRIVATE LIMITED.

We are committed to providing a fair and transparent process for cancellations and refunds. Please read this policy carefully before making any payment. By completing a transaction on our platform, you agree to the terms described herein.

This policy is designed in compliance with the Payment Aggregator Guidelines issued by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) and applicable consumer protection laws of India.

Scope of This Policy

This policy applies to all monetary transactions conducted on the Adhisaat platform, including but not limited to:

  • Consultation bookings with healthcare professionals
  • Subscription plans (monthly, quarterly, annual)
  • One-time service payments or health packages
  • Lab test bookings or diagnostic service orders
  • Any other paid feature, product, or service offered through Adhisaat

Cancellation Policy

By the User

Users may cancel a booking or subscription subject to the following conditions:

  • Consultation Bookings: Cancellations made at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment are eligible for a full refund.
  • Within 24 hours: Cancellations within 24 hours of the appointment may attract a cancellation fee of up to 25% of the booking amount.
  • No-show: If a user fails to attend without prior cancellation, no refund will be issued.
  • Subscription Plans: Subscriptions may be cancelled at any time; however, the remaining unused period will not be refunded unless specified otherwise.
  • Lab & Diagnostic Bookings: Cancellations accepted up to 2 hours before the scheduled sample collection time.

We reserve the right to cancel a booking or transaction in the following circumstances:

  • Unavailability of the healthcare professional or service provider
  • Technical or operational errors at the time of booking
  • Suspected fraudulent activity or misuse of the platform
  • Force majeure events (natural disasters, pandemics, government orders, etc.)

In such cases, a full refund will be processed to the original payment method within the timelines mentioned in Section 4.

Note: All refund decisions are subject to verification and at the sole discretion of KUMA VENTURES PRIVATE LIMITED. Promotional, discounted, or free trial services are not eligible for monetary refunds.

Refund Process & Timeline

Once a refund request is approved, the amount will be credited to the original payment source (credit/debit card, UPI, net banking, wallet, etc.) used at the time of transaction.

Important: Actual credit timelines may vary depending on your bank or payment provider and are beyond the control of KUMA VENTURES PRIVATE LIMITED. If a refund is not received within the above timelines, please contact your bank before reaching out to us.

Adhisaat will not charge any fee for processing refunds. Bank or payment gateway charges (if any) are governed by the respective financial institution's policies.

How to Request a Cancellation or Refund

To initiate a cancellation or refund request, users may use any of the following methods:

  • In-App: Go to My Bookings โ†’ Select Appointment โ†’ Cancel & Request Refund
  • Email: Write to info@adhisaat.com with subject line "Refund Request โ€“ [Booking ID]"
  • Support Portal: Submit a ticket via the Help & Support section in the app

Information Required

Please include the following details in your request:

  • Registered mobile number or email address
  • Booking ID or Transaction Reference Number
  • Reason for cancellation or refund request
  • Date of transaction and amount paid
  • Screenshot of payment confirmation (if available)

We aim to acknowledge all requests within 48 business hours and resolve them within 7โ€“10 business days.

Non-Refundable Circumstances

Refunds will not be issued under the following circumstances:

  • Services already rendered or consumed, even partially
  • User dissatisfaction with advice, recommendations, or outcomes of a completed consultation
  • Purchases made using promotional credits, referral bonuses, or coupon codes
  • Requests raised beyond the eligible cancellation window
  • Duplicate payment claims where only one payment was successfully processed
  • Accounts found to be in violation of Adhisaat's Terms & Conditions

Payment Failure & Duplicate Transactions

In the event of a payment failure where the amount has been debited but the booking was not confirmed:

  • The amount will be automatically reversed by the payment gateway within 5โ€“7 business days
  • If the auto-reversal does not occur, please email us at info@adhisaat.com with the transaction details

For duplicate payments (same booking charged twice), the excess amount will be refunded within 7 business days of confirmation of the duplicate charge.

Dispute Resolution & Grievance Redressal

If you are not satisfied with our resolution, you may escalate through the following channels:

  • Level 1 โ€“ Customer Support: Email info@adhisaat.com with subject "Grievance โ€“ [Issue Description]"
  • Level 2 โ€“ Grievance Officer: If unresolved within 10 business days, escalate to our Grievance Officer at the registered address

All disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India and governed by the laws of India.

Updates to This Policy

KUMA VENTURES PRIVATE LIMITED reserves the right to modify this Cancellation & Refund Policy at any time without prior notice. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the website and application.

Continued use of the Adhisaat platform after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy. Users are encouraged to review this page periodically.
